This is in preparation for breaking the dependence between SecureBlob and Blob. This breaks function calls that implicitly convert into SecureBlob, therefore move the existing call functions into either SecureBlobs or use Sha*ToSecureBlob if the data is not moved/copied into another type. Move all Aes* functions to use SecureBlob for both ciphertext and plaintext: since most usages of Aes[En|De]crypt use SecureBlobs for both, this helps in decoupling mixed usage. Ideally, the ciphertext, once encrypted, should be a Blob: we revisit this once the dependence between SecureBlob and Blob is broken. BUG=chromium:728047 TEST=unittests pass. Reason for revert: Chrome needed some updates to not make this break connections. We are simply waiting for the below CL to go into a Chrome version that cros builds with; reverting until then. https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1470746 Original change's description: > shill: Distinguish between an unknown failure and no failure at all > > Prior to this CL, kFailureUnknown was used to represent both an unknown > failure and for no failure. This is incovenient for a number of reasons, > and led to logs indicating unknown failure when completely normal > control flow occurs. > > This change adds kFailureNone to be used as the value representing no > failure. kFailureUnknown is moved to a different value such that > kFailureNone may be value 0. While this affects existing metrics, the > metrics we have on kFailureUnknown are mostly useless, as we cannot > distinguish between real failures and no failures anyways. > > Note that for cellular, any disconnects from PPP still result in setting > the failure to kFailureUnknown, even if the disconnect is not the result > of any failure. Changing this behavior requires either modifying how shill > interacts with pppd through the PPP class or assuming that a PPP > disconnect after successful authentication is intentional. > > A very similar CL was originally written by @semenzato many moons ago: > https://android-review.googlesource.com/c/platform/system/connectivity/shill/+/209433 > > BUG=chromium:596197 > TEST=- Normal state changes in shill are now logged without indicating an > unknown failure, while state changes due to actual failures do show > a failure. > - All unit tests are passing. > > Change-Id: I76970f613ec997a6dbedf6edfaead31592ada455 > Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/1452314 > Commit-Ready: Alex Khouderchah <akhouderchah@chromium.org> > Tested-by: Alex Khouderchah <akhouderchah@chromium.org> > Reviewed-by: Kirtika Ruchandani <kirtika@chromium.org> > Reviewed-by: Eric Caruso <ejcaruso@chromium.org> Bug: chromium:596197 Change-Id: I3775f2d260e3c223171945d774a266bda161f481 Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/1474562 Commit-Ready: ChromeOS CL Exonerator Bot <chromiumos-cl-exonerator@appspot.gserviceaccount.com> Tested-by: Alex Khouderchah <akhouderchah@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Alex Khouderchah <akhouderchah@chromium.org> " fail_count="1" gerrit_number="1474562" owner_email="akhouderchah@chromium.org" pass_count="0" patch_number="2" project="chromiumos/platform2" project_url="https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/chromiumos/platform2" ref="refs/changes/62/1474562/2" remote="cros" total_fail_count="1"/><pending_commit branch="master" change_id="Ie542c9fb554b0e901db7cb55ff1f23c013563d97" commit="71e7578eac68cacd2ecfd3bba4eb94f23750a106" commit_message="vm_tools: Add support for concurrent VMs This change modifies two parts of vm_tools to allow other VMs to run on the system: 1.
