[camera_android_camerax] Enforce CHANGELOG backticks and add eval commit author check to pre-push-skill (#12624)

This work started by adding evals to make sure the changlog backticks work did not regress. Then I discovered that the agents.md file I updated didn't work if the camera_android_camerax folder was opened which was the documented project-oneshot plan.

When authoring those evals I ran into issues branching the workspace. https://github.com/google/skills_lint.dart/pull/3/ addresses updating the skill to work in more situations.

This pr also adds some shared utilities and a script to verify that eval commits are not pushed.
- @reidbaker
---
Agent authored description.
Enforces the repository-wide requirement that code references in `CHANGELOG.md` must be enclosed in backticks, and adds verification tooling to prevent pushing evaluation test commits.

## Changes

### 1. CHANGELOG Backtick Enforcement
- Updated `pre-push-skill/SKILL.md` to verify `CHANGELOG.md` formatting following the ecosystem contributing guidelines.
- Linked package `AGENTS.md` to repository root `AGENTS.md`.
- Added Eval 5 (`setup_user_facing_docs_change.dart`) to evaluate and assert detection of unquoted code references in `CHANGELOG.md`.

### 2. Eval Commit Prevention & Tooling
- Created `evals/tool/check_eval_commits.dart` CLI tool using `package:args` and idiomatic exit code handling to verify that outgoing branch commits contain no forbidden evaluation author credentials (`eval-author@example.com`).
- Added Step 3 ("Check for Evaluation Test Commits") to `pre-push-skill/SKILL.md`.
- Extracted shared author credentials and commit helpers into `evals/tool/test_utils.dart` and migrated all eval setup scripts to use it.
- Added Eval 6 (`setup_eval_commit_failure.dart`) to evaluate and assert rejection of evaluation test commits.

## Verification
- `flutter test test/skills_evals_test.dart`
- `flutter test test/validate_skills_test.dart`
- `dart analyze .agents/skills/pre-push-skill/ evals/`
- `dart run evals/tool/check_eval_commits.dart --remote=origin`
- Ran full evaluation suite (Evals 1–6) with subagents in isolated worktrees."

Several tests had a pattern where a helper method was creating a local `mapView` instance, using it to construct the subcontroller under test, and then returning that subcontroller—at which point the map view goes out of scope. The subcontrollers have weak references to the map view, so it can be deallocated before the test actually runs, and doing so causes the tests to fail (as many operations in the subcontroller no-op when the map view is nil). In cases where the helper is only used once, it can be inlined; in cases where it's used repeatedly we can instead return multiple values and keep the map view alive.

Part of https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/119108

## Pre-Review Checklist

[^1]: Regular contributors who have demonstrated familiarity with the repository guidelines only need to comment if the PR is not auto-exempted by repo tooling.
[google_maps_flutter] Convert simple object controllers to Swift (#12618)

This converts CircleController, PolygonController, and PolylineController to Swift in the `_sdk*` packages.

The remaining Obj-C code will be migrated in a series of follow-up PRs to keep the scope of each PR reasonable for review.

The conversion process was:
- Initial conversion via Gemini, with explicit instruction to keep the structure the same.
- Side-by-side manual review of the old and new versions of the files.
- Manual fixes and improvements.

This includes test changes beyond what we would normally expect for a language conversion PR (e.g., name changes from dropping the prefix) because the conversion to Swift exposed a latent issue in the tests.

[google_maps_flutter] Convert top-level classes to Swift in `_sdk*` packages (#12307)

This converts GoogleMapsPlugin, GoogleMapFactory, and GoogleMapController to Swift, and restructures the source code to typical migration state of having the Swift code be the primary target, depending on a new `*_objc` target that contains the unmigrated code. Because `google_maps_flutter_ios` cannot adopt Swift (see discussion in linked issue), this removes that package from the code sharing. Going forward, development will be limited to the `_sdk*` packages.

For reasons explained [here](https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/119108#issuecomment-5118579662), the Pigeon API layer is still Objective-C for now, which does lead to some temporary non-ideal code in GoogleMapController. That will be cleaned up in the last step when we are able to switch to Swift Pigeon generation.

The last step was more extensive than usual because the init method had longstanding design issues (https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/104121) that became hard errors under Swift. There was some refactoring of helper methods and reordering of initialization steps to make the code work with the strict two-phase init process.

Part of https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/119108
Fixes https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/104121

## Pre-Review Checklist

[^1]: Regular contributors who have demonstrated familiarity with the repository guidelines only need to comment if the PR is not auto-exempted by repo tooling.
Fix RangeSlider thumb overlay remains visible after touch interaction ends (#12560)

Ports https://github.com/flutter/flutter/pull/189610 to material_ui, per the porting instructions in https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/188444.

Fixes https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/189205

After a RangeSlider thumb was touched or dragged, the selected thumb could retain focus and continue painting the focused overlay after the touch gesture ended. This happened because the focused thumb requested keyboard focus during pointer interaction, and RangeSlider painted its focused overlay directly from FocusNode.hasFocus.

This PR separates actual thumb focus from the visual focus highlight. Touch interaction can still move focus to the selected thumb for semantics and keyboard continuation, but the focused overlay is only painted when Flutter's focus highlight mode says it should be shown, such as keyboard/traditional focus.

This PR also fixes the active drag overlay disappearing while a touch gesture is still in progress. Previously, if the finger moved outside the thumb's overlay bounds during a drag, hover tracking could reverse the shared overlay animation even though the slider was still active. The overlay now remains visible for the active drag and dismisses when the interaction ends.

Original PR: https://github.com/flutter/flutter/pull/189610

## Pre-Review Checklist
[go_router] Clarify onEnter/redirect ordering, add regression test (#12337)

## What this does

Clarifies the `onEnter` doc comment on `RoutingConfig` to explicitly warn
that `onEnter` is evaluated once, against the literal navigated-to URI,
and is never re-invoked for locations reached only through a `redirect:`
chain. Adds a regression test locking in this behavior for the exact
scenario reported in flutter/flutter#188014, plus a second test
demonstrating the correct workaround (putting the guard inside
`redirect:` instead of `onEnter`).

## Why

flutter/flutter#188014 reports what looks like a bug: an `onEnter` guard
checking for an intermediate redirect target (`/a`, reached via a
`redirect:` on `/`) never fires. Tracing the pipeline shows this is
actually intended, existing behavior — see the
`'onEnter called once when top-level redirect chains'` test (written for
the related #178984), which asserts the same ordering. The docs didn't
make this ordering/visibility gap explicit though, so it's an easy trap.
This PR closes that documentation gap and adds test coverage so the
behavior can't silently change without a test failing.

## Related

Fixes flutter/flutter#188014 (as a documentation clarification, not a
behavior change — see discussion on the issue).

## Pre-Review Checklist

> [!IMPORTANT]
> This PR was prepared with assistance from an AI agent (Claude).
[material_ui] Port flutter/flutter #185149 "Slider label clips the screen" (#12572)

Ports https://github.com/flutter/flutter/pull/185149 from flutter/flutter to flutter/packages, following the porting instructions in https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/188444.

Long text in a `Slider` or `RangeSlider` label clipped off the edges of the screen. This limits the label's `maxWidth` to the screen width minus a calculated horizontal buffer (`_kValueIndicatorHorizontalBuffer`), forces `maxLines = 1`, and applies the Unicode ellipsis (`…`), so the text no longer expands past the screen boundary and the bubble shape no longer breaks vertically. A `screenSize.width.isFinite && screenSize.width > 0` guard keeps the constraint inert when no valid size is available.

The original PR was reviewed and approved by @QuncCccccc. No merge commits were included; the five commits cherry-picked onto `material_ui` with no conflicts.

Validation:
- `dart format --set-exit-if-changed` on the four changed files
- `git diff --check`
- `flutter test test/slider_test.dart test/range_slider_test.dart`

Fixes https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/63293

## Pre-Review Checklist

**Note**: The Flutter team is currently trialing the use of [Gemini Code Assist for GitHub](https://developers.google.com/gemini-code-assist/docs/review-github-code). Comments from the `gemini-code-assist` bot should not be taken as authoritative feedback from the Flutter team. If you find its comments useful you can update your code accordingly, but if you are unsure or disagree with the feedback, please feel free to wait for a Flutter team member's review for guidance on which automated comments should be addressed.

[^1]: Regular contributors who have demonstrated familiarity with the repository guidelines only need to comment if the PR is not auto-exempted by repo tooling.
[camera_android_camerax] Add explicit concurrent-futures dependency (#12373)

`camera_android_camerax`'s Gradle module does not explicitly declare a dependency on `androidx.concurrent:concurrent-futures`. Verified via `androidx.camera:camera-core:1.6.1`'s own Gradle module metadata (`.module` file): `camera-core` declares `androidx.concurrent:concurrent-futures` only on its **runtime** variant (`releaseVariantReleaseRuntimePublication`), not its **api/compile** variant (`releaseVariantReleaseApiPublication`). So when a consumer compiles against `camera-core`, Gradle correctly does not put `concurrent-futures` on the compile classpath — that's not a resolution bug, it's what `camera-core`'s own metadata declares.

However, `camera-core`'s compiled `SurfaceRequest.class` carries a compile-time-retained jspecify `@NonNull` type annotation on a member typed `androidx.concurrent.futures.CallbackToFutureAdapter`. javac needs that class on the compile classpath to fully process the annotation metadata during compilation — even though no `camera_android_camerax` (or `camera-core`) source calls it directly. This is a mismatch in `camera-core`'s own packaging (a type needed at compile time for annotation processing, but declared runtime-only), which the Flutter team can't fix upstream since `camera-core` is owned by the AndroidX/Jetpack team. Declaring the dependency explicitly in `camera_android_camerax` works around it.

Confirmed 100% reproducible on a completely stock, uncustomized `flutter create` app on current stable (3.44.8, default AGP 9.0.1, compileSdk 37):

```
flutter create camera_repro
cd camera_repro
flutter pub add camera
flutter build apk --debug
```

fails every time with:

```
error: Cannot attach type annotations @org.jspecify.annotations.NonNull to
SurfaceRequest.mSurfaceRecreationCompleter: class file for
androidx.concurrent.futures.CallbackToFutureAdapter not found
```

Minimal repro repo (steps + README with root cause): https://github.com/dhc-tech/camera-android-camerax-build-repro

List which issues are fixed by this PR:

Fixes https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/190505

## Pre-Review Checklist"

(The sibling `TextGlyph` sample directly above closes correctly.)
2. **Missing `await`** — `BitmapDescriptor.asset` is declared `static Future<AssetMapBitmap> asset(...)` (line 278), while `BitmapGlyph.bitmap` is `final BitmapDescriptor bitmap;` (line 1106), so a bare `BitmapDescriptor.asset(...)` can't be assigned to it.

The repo's own examples use the awaited form — e.g. `google_maps_flutter_web/example/latest/integration_test/advanced_markers_test.dart:422`:

```dart
bitmap: await BitmapDescriptor.asset(
```

The sample now mirrors that. Paren balance goes from 5 open / 4 close to 5 / 5.

Doc comment only; bumped to 2.16.1 with a CHANGELOG entry per the versioning policy — happy to switch to `## NEXT` if that's preferred for a docs-only change.
[CI] Update deps script (#12427)

- Unblocks https://github.com/flutter/packages/pull/12423

Fixes a Pub version solver failure during release PR testing (`make-deps-path-based`) for co-dependent packages (specifically `material_ui` and `cupertino_ui`).

When creating a release PR for `material_ui` (e.g., `release-material_ui-0.0.3+1`), the `make-deps-path-based` CI step failed during `flutter test` on `packages/cupertino_ui` with the following Pub version solver error:

```
Resolving dependencies in `./example`...
Because every version of material_ui from path depends on cupertino_ui from hosted and cupertino_ui_examples depends on cupertino_ui from path, material_ui from path is forbidden.
So, because cupertino_ui_examples depends on material_ui from path, version solving failed.
Failed to update packages.
```

`material_ui` and `cupertino_ui` share an asymmetric co-dependency in the repository:
- **`material_ui`** has a **direct dependency** on `cupertino_ui` (`dependencies: cupertino_ui: ^0.0.3`).
- **`cupertino_ui`** has a **dev dependency** on `material_ui` (`dev_dependencies: material_ui: ^0.0.2`).

When `make-deps-path-based --target-dependencies=material_ui` runs:
1. `make-deps-path-based` adds `dependency_overrides: material_ui: {path: ../material_ui}` to `cupertino_ui/pubspec.yaml` and `cupertino_ui/example/pubspec.yaml`.
2. `cupertino_ui/example` depends directly on `cupertino_ui` (`path: ..`).
3. `material_ui` (from `path`) depends on `cupertino_ui: ^0.0.3` (from hosted `pub.dev`).
4. Without `cupertino_ui` in `cupertino_ui/example`'s `dependency_overrides`, Pub detects `cupertino_ui` sourced from **`path`** (in `cupertino_ui_examples`) and **`hosted`** (in `material_ui`), causing Pub's version solver to reject the resolution graph.

Updated `make-deps-path-based` (`script/tool/lib/src/make_deps_path_based_command.dart`):

When `_addDependencyOverridesIfNecessary` recursively updates example apps of a package (`for (final RepositoryPackage example in package.getExamples())`), it now explicitly includes the parent `package` itself in the local package mapping and `additionalPackagesToOverride`.

This ensures `cupertino_ui/example/pubspec.yaml` receives a path override for its parent package (`dependency_overrides: cupertino_ui: {path: ...}`) alongside the target package override (`material_ui: {path: ...}`). Consequently, Pub solver resolves both local path dependencies cleanly without requiring recursive dependency expansion (thereby preserving the safety net of `--target-dependencies`).

---

#### Why `cupertino_ui` Has a `dev_dependency` on `material_ui`

`cupertino_ui` declares `material_ui` in its `dev_dependencies` because multiple files across `cupertino_ui/lib/src/` (e.g., `text_field.dart`, `dialog.dart`, `scrollbar.dart`, `theme.dart`) use Dart `@docImport` directives referencing Material design widgets in public API documentation:

```dart
/// @docImport 'package:material_ui/material_ui.dart';
```

Per Dart doc guidelines, packages referenced in `@docImport` must be declared in `dev_dependencies` so static analysis and `dartdoc` can resolve the cross-referenced symbols.

---

#### Didn't we fix this last week?

- **Aug 4, 09:06 AM (`material_ui 0.0.3` release #12352)**: Both packages still used Dart Workspaces (`resolution: workspace`). Under Dart Workspaces, Pub dependency resolution was handled at the top-level workspace root, hiding the Pub solver conflict.
- **Aug 4, 12:44 PM (PR #12351)**: PR #12351 landed to unblock `cupertino_ui 0.0.3` by removing Dart workspaces from `cupertino_ui` and `material_ui`.
 - When releasing **`cupertino_ui`** (`targetDependencies=cupertino_ui`), `material_ui` got path overrides for `cupertino_ui`. Since `cupertino_ui` didn't depend on a third package pulling hosted `cupertino_ui`, `cupertino_ui`'s release succeeded.
 - However, when releasing **`material_ui`** (`targetDependencies=material_ui`), `material_ui`'s direct dependency on `cupertino_ui` caused `cupertino_ui/example` to fail.
- **Aug 10 (`material_ui 0.0.3+1` release #12423)**: This was the first release attempt of `material_ui` since Dart workspaces were removed, exposing the non-workspace Pub solver requirement.

## Pre-Review Checklist

**Note**: The Flutter team is currently trialing the use of [Gemini Code Assist for GitHub](https://developers.google.com/gemini-code-assist/docs/review-github-code).
[camera]fix test flake due to expectation fulfilled before flag is toggled (#12400)

The flake is due to `completion` block (which fulfills the expectation) being called too early, before the flag to test is actually toggled

It flakes (rather than consistently fails) because we toggle the flag on capture session queue, while the test runs on main, resulting in a race.

Also audited all camera tests to check for similar bugs.

*List which issues are fixed by this PR.
