Allow CRX-internal symlinks on macOS Allow the updater to preserve internal symbolic links when extracting CRX files on macOS. This is necessary for supporting "zip" installers for the Updater and Chrome, which include an internal link to ksadmin. This is implemented as an option on update-client's in-process unzipper which is only enabled for //chrome/updater. There shouldn't be a reason to enable it for webview's component updater. Learn how to Get Around the Chromium Source Code Directory Structure.
For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
