Revert "Android: Expand smoke tests by having them open the NTP"

This reverts commit 45743401c75b10bdec895528adc916fa7e4be4eb.

Reason for revert: The modified test has started failing on android-automotive-12l-x64-rel-tests and flaking on some others.
