[macOS][FSA] Block Access to Application Bundle Path This update blocks read and write access to the Application Bundle and its child paths in the File System Access API. Users will encounter an error message stating, "Can’t open file in this folder because it contains system files." Unit tests have been added to validate this change. Manual testing was conducted before and after the implementation by attempting to open a log file within the package using googlechromelabs.github.io/text-editor The expected error message appears when trying to access the log file post-change. Documentation in the source is rooted in docs/README.md.
Learn how to Get Around the Chromium Source Code Directory Structure.
For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
