Revert "[build] Enable -fsized-deallocation on ASan builds" This reverts commit f5347d4003b2245d2b594e2a588b1f3ea9f672fa. Reason for revert: win-asan failures https://ci.chromium.org/ui/p/chromium/builders/ci/win-asan/35012/overview Original change's description: > [build] Enable -fsized-deallocation on ASan builds > > This patch adds a new gn arg, `use_sized_deallocation, to enable > sized-deallocation. When enabled, some delete expressions start using > different version of operator delete() with a size parameter. See > https://en.cppreference.com/w/cpp/memory/new/operator_delete for details > on delete operators being used. > > The size information can be used for performance improvement in memory > allocator or bug detection mechanism like ASan. This CL enables the flag > on ASan builds to help ASan catch size-mismatch errors. > > This CL also updates abseil exported symbols for Win ASan builds. Sized > deallocation can not be activated on other build configurations on > Windows at this moment. > > Original patch: https://crrev.com/c/6304218 > > Bug: 345541122, 410190984, 410192659 > Change-Id: Ie046a61ffd9fcdcb033e3787deeeede511e0dc93 > Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/6445033 > Commit-Queue: Mikihito Matsuura <mikt@google.com> > Reviewed-by: Nico Weber <thakis@chromium.org> > Cr-Commit-Position: refs/heads/main@{#1446230} Bug: 345541122, 410190984, 410192659 No-Presubmit: true No-Tree-Checks: true No-Try: true Change-Id: I5353e399fcac98df23db4b8f246f487b4fb4109f Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/6449096 Reviewed-by: Nico Weber <thakis@chromium.org> Bot-Commit: Rubber Stamper <rubber-stamper@appspot.gserviceaccount.com> Commit-Queue: Nico Weber <thakis@chromium.org> Auto-Submit: Mikihito Matsuura <mikt@google.com> Cr-Commit-Position: refs/heads/main@{#1446323}
Chromium is an open-source browser project that aims to build a safer, faster, and more stable way for all users to experience the web.
The project's web site is https://www.chromium.org.
To check out the source code locally, don't use git clone! Instead, follow the instructions on how to get the code.
Documentation in the source is rooted in docs/README.md.
Learn how to Get Around the Chromium Source Code Directory Structure.
For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
