This reverts commit b7c7cb59be59fafb035f62566170cbc0b663a07b.

Original change's description:
> WebApps: Change default for preinstalled D/S/S/D to standalone tabbed apps
>
> Previously when Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive were
> preinstalled, they were set to open in a browser tab. Now that tabbed
> web apps are launched, D/S/S/D are moving to use a tabbed web app when
> installed. This CL updates the default to match (otherwise the
> DisplayMode will change on app update later).
>
> Excludes managed devices/profiles from the change to reduce disruption
> in enterprise environments. Will do a follow-up CL with some tests for
> the managed device detection.
>
> Doesn't currently set a home/new tab configuration, so tabbed editors
> will not have a home tab, and use the start_url for new tabs. Will
> follow up with a fix for that.

Logo Chromium

Chromium is an open-source browser project that aims to build a safer, faster, and more stable way for all users to experience the web.

The project's web site is https://www.chromium.org.

To check out the source code locally, don't use git clone! Instead, follow the instructions on how to get the code.

Documentation in the source is rooted in docs/README.md.

Learn how to Get Around the Chromium Source Code Directory Structure .

For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
