Extension Safety Hub Offstore and Unwanted Extension String Update The Extension Safety Hub's two new triggers have used placeholder strings while the official wording was being finalized. Now that the new trigger strings have been confirmed, the old strings need to be updated. For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
