Pass EventDispatcher via DidInitializeServiceWorkerContext Messages of EventDispatcher for service workers are routed through a mojo interfaces on the main thread. So, this CL adds a message pipe between WorkerThreadDispatcher and EventRouter for direct communication. Endpoints are created in WorkerThreadDispatcher when an extension service worker context is initialized and transferred to EventRouter via mojom.ServiceWorkerHost.DidInitializeServiceWorkerContext. Currently the receiver is associated with legacy IPC channel in the renderer process. It will be obtained in worker thread once an AssociatedInterfaceRegistry for service workers is added. Documentation in the source is rooted in docs/README.md.
Learn how to Get Around the Chromium Source Code Directory Structure .
For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
