Make the status icon menu show up on mouse-down

There is a known bug in Cocoa that makes status icon actions on
mouse-down behave incorrectly. The standard workaround in the Cocoa
community is to trigger the action on mouse-up.

That's undesirable, so build a workaround using swizzling (which is
the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems).
