Introduce ServiceWorkerClient The main changes are in `service_worker_container_host.*` and `ServiceWorkerContextCore::CreateContainerHostFor*()`. This CL splits the original `ServiceWorkerContainerHost` into: - `ServiceWorkerContainerHost` corresponding to the spec's ServiceWorkerContainer's host to communicate with renderer, and - a new class `ServiceWorkerClient` corresponding to the spec's service worker client to be used for registration/fetching. In this CL, `ServiceWorkerContainerHostForClient` and `ServiceWorkerClient` still correspond 1:1, have the same lifetime and the pointers to each other are always valid except for during initialization and destruction. The other parts of this CL are to replace `ServiceWorkerContainerHost` references to `ServiceWorkerClient` where applicable, and rename accordingly to some extent. Subsequent CLs will further rename classes/variables: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/5504403 https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/5504404 https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/5504405 Bug: 336154571 Change-Id: I8949803a8b1153337609f706e932202252b03d60 Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/5451439 Reviewed-by: Yoshisato Yanagisawa <yyanagisawa@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Kouhei Ueno <kouhei@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Alex Moshchuk <alexmos@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Hiroki Nakagawa <nhiroki@chromium.org> Commit-Queue: Hiroshige Hayashizaki <hiroshige@chromium.org> Cr-Commit-Position: refs/heads/main@{#1297408}
Chromium is an open-source browser project that aims to build a safer, faster, and more stable way for all users to experience the web.
The project's web site is https://www.chromium.org.
To check out the source code locally, don't use git clone! Instead, follow the instructions on how to get the code.
Documentation in the source is rooted in docs/README.md.
Learn how to Get Around the Chromium Source Code Directory Structure.
For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
