[Extensions] handle exceptions in async tests If an exception is thrown in an async test, it is not caught, and the test failure is not logged, like with synchronous functions. Handle the exception in the "catch()" block if the test returns a promise. For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
