[ios] Fix issue with EG tests and device orientation The issue appears to have been caused by a roll to EarlGrey on Feb 24, 2023. This appears to be the change that caused the issue: https://chromium.googlesource.com/external/github.com/google/EarlGrey.git/+/16d0e8218db438513ffd95ba9425908703a19b4d The change appears to have removed a request for UIDevice to update the device orientation, which caused UIDevice's orientation property to be UIDeviceOrientationUnknown. This caused an error when the test was in tear down when it tried to return the device to its original orientation. However, we can get the orientation from XCUIDevice instead. Documentation in the source is rooted in docs/README.md.
Learn how to Get Around the Chromium Source Code Directory Structure .
For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
