Hash id and scope in trace events instead of using id_scope The scope string can't be uploaded when privacy filtering is on, which means event id's from different scopes can collide. Hash the id with the scope string to prevent this. For historical reasons, there are some small top level directories. Now the guidance is that new top level directories are for product (e.g. Chrome, Android WebView, Ash). Even if these products have multiple executables, the code should be in subdirectories of the product.
