| Note for BSD and OS X users: |

| The scripts in this tree use the -f option with the readlink utility. This |
| option isn't POSIX and isn't supported in the stock readlink implementations on |
| either BSD or OS X. There is a work around readlink script in the libdot/bin |
| directory that works on these platforms. If the readlink on your system doesn't |
| support -f, then you'll need to put this alternate readlink somewhere earlier in |
| your PATH before running the scripts here. |
